Hi! We just put another poster up in the Looking at Picture Books Shop. This one is from Extra Yarn, the first book Jon and I made together.
The book opens with this image, a two-page spread accompanied by this sentence: “On a cold afternoon, in a cold little town, where everywhere you looked was either the white of snow or the black of soot from chimneys, Annabelle found a box filled with yarn of every color.”
(That sentence isn’t on the poster. “Looking at Picture Books,” and our logo, is.)
Like our Millions of Cats poster, we think this poster contains a nice analogy for looking at picture books, but we don’t want to overexplain it.
Shipping to Canada costs more than the poster itself! Waaaah! Would purchase every poster otherwise. C'mon Jon, help your people out!
I JUST checked out Extra Yarn from the Jefferson Market Library. Randomly. I'm a knitter so it caught my eye that way. 🧶
